DPI is currently accepting resumes for full-time and/or contract assignments for the following positions:

Systems Sales Manager

This individual should possess adequate knowledge in conveyor, Pick-to-Light, software, carousel, rack and other material handling applications and a proven background in taking projects from a prospect through the sale. Duties will include but are not limited to: prospecting/developing/ closing leads and the Design & Build opportunities connected with integrated material handling solutions for distribution and/or manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in a comparable capacity is required.

Mechanical Engineer

This individual will be responsible for the design, engineering, and commissioning of conveyor and automated material handling systems. Duties will include but are not limited to: engineering of the system, preparation of detailed drawings and documentation, procuring of the equipment, and the implementation and commissioning of the system. The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, preferred but not required, be proficient in AutoCAD, and possess a minimum of five years of comparable experience in the material handling industry.

Sr. Controls Engineer

This individual will be responsible for the design, development and commissioning of the PLC software and controls hardware requirements for all Controls-based projects and seeing those projects through to completion. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: device layouts, panel design and schematic, the purchasing of parts, designing PLC programs and operator interfaces, scanner configuration, supervision/management of field wiring subcontractors, commissioning of projects along with trouble shooting and maintenance of past projects. The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, preferred but not required, and a minimum of 10 years of comparable experience in the material handling industry.

Senior Software Engineer

This individual will be key to our control and warehouse systems projects. Duties will include but are not limited to: designing, development, testing and implementation of solutions for required projects, create systems level technical test plans and documentation, and the support of current production systems. Visual Studio, TCP/IP winsock, PLC, WMS, network and hardware experience a plus. Requirements:

  • Min. 3 years programming in Visual C++.
  • Min. 7 - 10 years experience in programming C, C++ or Visual C++ and analysis.
  • Min. 3 years experience with Microsoft SQL.
  • Min. 3 years experience with conveyor sort control logic.
  • Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required.

Project Manager

This individual should have a strong background in various software and hardware categories including WMS, ERP, WCS, Pick-to-Light, PLC Logic, conveyor, racking and platform. Excellent customer relationships, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are also required. Primary duties will include but are not limited to: directing the project related activities through the complete life cycle including scheduling, administrative, contract, financial, and communication. The successful candidate will possess a related Bachelor’s Degree, preferred but not required, and a minimum of 10 years of comparable experience in the material handling industry.
