As the second largest cooperative in the hardware industry, Do it Best has more than 4,100 member-owned stores in the U.S. and 45 other countries. Besides the usual tools and building materials, merchandise includes automotive items, bicycles, camping gear, housewares, office supplies, and small appliances. Do it Best (formerly Hardware Wholesalers) began in 1945; it bought the Our Own Hardware co-op in 1998.

We presented DPI with a nightmarish scenario. Our facility is old and irregularly shaped. It has low ceilings and big concrete columns every few feet. In addition, we couldn't stop working during the design, installation, implementation and training phases of this project. They did a superb job.
