Without DPI's involvement, design, and support, we could not be where we are today. The new pick line allows us to produce an equal amount of orders as our other two pick lines combined, with half the people; which translates to increased profitability.
DPI has gone over and above the call of duty by helping Arbonne in the site selection and defining building requirements. It has also played a huge role in forecasting our growth and requirements for the upcoming years.

We presented DPI with a nightmarish scenario. Our facility is old and irregularly shaped. It has low ceilings and big concrete columns every few feet. In addition, we couldn't stop working during the design, installation, implementation and training phases of this project. They did a superb job. Our processes are now faster, our productivity has increased immensely, while our error rate has been drastically reduced. Plus, we now have a distribution system that integrates all of our operations. If we had to do it all over, we would definately choose DPI again. They became our partners during this whole process. They were there every stop of the way.

We had a requirement to consolidate distribution from three less than optimum operations into one highly automated order selection facility. The challenge we presented to DPI was great. In essence we said, ‘We want to increase our SKU count, distribute a lot more of it faster and with a higher degree of accuracy. However,’ we added, ‘we want to do it from a much smaller location.’ DPI delivered with an innovative design that maximized cube utilization in a smaller footprint. The new system has helped us reach our objective of warehousing and distributing more SKU’s in a more productive and efficient fashion.

We needed a designer who could take the lead in the design process. The people at DPI brought good concepts to the project, and then made a continuing effort to mesh them with our operating philosophy. In fact, their people were involved with every detail of the process. They made extra effort to solve the inevitable design problems. We used quantifying analysis and simulation to get the design right, and DPI helped us with these steps.
We have the capacity now to handle future expansion. Our goal is quality assurance in filling orders, and we can do that better now with our new system.
