Distribution Center Layout/Design

As part of the Design & Build process and whenever a new building is part of the overall plan, it is only logical that the building be designed around the storage and the order assembly system. As a result, DPI often produces the general arrangement layout for the new facility at the customer’s request. This, of course, requires that DPI be intimately involved in determining the size of the new facility in order to satisfy projected future business volumes. These plans, when completed, are supplied to their architects and become the basis for the development of the detailed building plans.
