Electrical Engineering

the market.
Mechanical Engineering
DPI provides turnkey order fulfillment solutions, using in-house mechanical engineering capability. The
design of conveyors, sortation systems, scales, lifts, palletizers, truck loaders and many other types
of material handling systems are the systems to which our mechanical engineers apply their expertise.

Structural Engineering
DPI provides complete structural analysis and design of all rack and rack supported structures. These
designs range from the simplest selective rack to the most complicated pick modules and include consideration
for any concerns regarding interfacing to the new or existing building structure. Analysis includes designs
based upon the Rack Manufacturer Institute’s latest codes, as well as any seismic analysis required by the
local building codes. All of this work is performed under the direction of our professional engineering staff.
Software Engineering
DPI's software engineers are industry leaders in IT development and services. DPI standards adhere to
world-class process improvement management, such as Information Technology Information Libraries (ITIL) and
Information Technology Service Management (ITSM). DPI maintains expertise in development environments
including JAVA and .NET which is instrumental in the design of Inventory Control, Order Management,
Routing/Sortation, Picking, Pack Out, QC workbench, and shipping systems for scores of national companies.
DPI Software services include consulting, project management, audits, analysis, and development as well as
implementation services for turnkey software packages and systems specific to the customer’s needs.
