Carts
Carts are used to move products and/or materials. Picking carts are often used to provide a low cost
solution for order selection and often use RF technology. Batch and cluster picking techniques can
be employed.
When carts are used for batch picking, multiple orders are lumped together and picked in a single
pass, requiring a de-consolidation into individual orders.
When carts are used for cluster picking, multiple orders are picked in a single pass, keeping
the orders unique.
