Dunnage
The “packing” operation occurs when cartons are used for broken case order selection.
This two step operation occurs after the order contents are picked complete. Once the
cartons reach the “packing” operation, they can be filled with paper, air pillow or foam
dunnage then put through the carton sealer and sent to the sortation system.
